About Me

My name is Carly Rowan, and I am currently a Ph.D. candidate in Counselor Education and Supervision at Liberty University, where my academic, professional, and research experiences have shaped my development as a future counselor educator. My journey in this program has been guided by continued growth in supervision, teaching, research, counseling, and leadership and advocacy. Throughout my time at Liberty and in professional practice, I have sought to integrate theory with application and ethical practice and develop a student-centered teaching approach. This portfolio highlights my growth in these competencies across the five core areas of the program. 

I help shape future counseling professionals by integrating theory, research, and ethical practice into supervision, teaching, and leadership. My focus is on creating student-centered learning and advancing the counseling profession through education and advocacy.
